INSPIRATION CALDAS DA RAINHA
The Bordallos Sneakers, created by designer Maria João Botas, promote the intangible culture of the city of Caldas da Rainha in Portugal. The designer drew inspiration from the colors of the city, the Praça da Fruta, the Parque D. Carlos I, and the people who circulate there every day to create the sneakers. Additionally, the inspiration from the works of Bordallo Pinheiro, one of the most important Portuguese artists, reinforces the sneakers' connection to Portuguese culture.
